I think potentially, Google Docs and the like, are the way of the future and a big threat to MS Office.
The great thing about GD is that you don't have to buy the software, it is free and it isn't loaded on your computer. The other superb feature is the sharing ability that enables collaborative teamwork on a project.
The downside is that Google has possession of your work and despite privacy reassurances, it would be a naive person who thinks Google doesn't have a look at the information. The other negative is that naturally you must have internet access to fully utilize the program to its maximum potential.
I think the halcyon days of Microsoft and its Office child are behind it, and companies like Google are showing how things MAY be headed in the future.
P.S. I posted this doc using the publish as web page option, but it didn't include the document title

I like the idea of accessing these docs from anywhere but I don't think the tools are smooth enough for me to use full-time. I get frustrated with it a lot!
With the post title, when you go to share your doc as a published web page, there is a link that says that says 'You can change your blog site settings at any time'. If you follow a link there is a tickabox thing which allows you to include the document title or not.
